The thesis shall explore the behavior of battery module capacity during storage in different environments. The thesis shall focus on the possibilities for improvement in storage and the definition of safe frames and treatment methods.
- What happens to the capacity during storage of our battery modules?
- What does it look like on a timeline?
- How big of a role does the environment play, e.g. temperature or humidity?
- What is a critical duration of storage without re-charging?
- How can storage be improved?
- What instructions can we give the specialised partners?
- How does the capacity behave at different SOC levels during storage?
- Which SOC offers the safest storage?
What you will be doing at sonnen:
- Familiarisation with all sonnenBatteries
- Diagnose RMA‘s
- Familiarisation with the battery modules
- Supporting the Hardware Diagnostics Expert
- Creating diagnostic instructions
- Creating evaluations
What you should bring to the table:
- Enrolled in a suitable technical study program in University / Applied Science Institute in Germany
- You have the ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues
- Fluent in German and English
