What you will do to help energy transition


  • Root-cause analysis and solution to Battery Systems not performing as expected
  • Remote troubleshooting of issues related to software, hardware, installation, and commissioning of Battery Systems
  • Provide technical support to our international service teams
  • Evaluation of new software rollouts – Analysis and detection of new errors and faults
  • Support on the creation of service-relevant instructions and thus ensure the transfer of knowledge to our service country organizations in Europe, Australia, and the US
  • Ensure technical issues (service tickets) are resolved
  • Main contact to one of our service country organizations
  • Expert in all technical aspects (software and hardware) of batteries, inverters, power meters, solar panels, energy software, EV chargers and other sonnen accessories



What you will need for that


  • Passion for Energy Storage and Renewable Energy
  • Good understanding of electrical systems
  • A problem solver who enjoys a challenge and never gives up until a problem is fixed
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical or science field. Alternatively, you have a technical studies/training with several years of relevant professional experience in the mentioned tasks.
  • Experience with CRM systems, case/ticketing systems, and bug-tracking systems
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Excellent customer and service orientation combined with good communication, team skills, and social competence
  • Ready to continuously further your education in the field of renewable energy technology and energy storage systems
  • Fluent English (written and oral) are required (additional languages are an advantage – German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, French, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel
