Director Supply Chain Management (m/w/d)

What you will do to help drive the energy transition:

• Lead all aspects of sonnen's Supply Chain Operations business including Sales and Operations Planning, Material Planning, Service Fulfilment, Material Master data, Customs and external Warehousing and Distribution.
• Proactively promoting and maintaining a strong culture of safety, customer centricity, 5 star product quality and flawless execution.
• Accountable for on-time delivery (OTD) of products to customers and on-time in full (OTIF) of materials from our supply chain.
• Building, leading, managing, developing and coaching the Supply Chain team to support sonnen’s long term growth trajectory.
• Have ENERGY to Collaborate with cross functional teams on the implementation of new hardware offerings plus strategic projects and their integration into the operations eco system. This will include both value-add manufactured and trading goods that will be managed throughout sonnen globally.
• Responsible for contract logistics (3PL) globally.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Sales Operations as an integral contributor to ensure that the Sales and Operations planning process delivers the necessary targets of the business.
• Manage Material Master Data globally throughout the organisation in collaboration with RnD, Quality, Procurement and Sales.
• Work as part of the Operations Leadership team to successfully deliver on strategy and execution of long term plans with ENERGY to Grow the operational business unit by developing operational plans and improving systems, practices, resources and operating standards to exceed delivery and inventory targets.
• ENERGY to Deliver projects that drive operations efficiency including new products and out-sourcing.
• ENERGY to Deliver flawless execution in collaborating with Product Management and RnD on device Implementation process projects.
• Accountable for successful phase-in and phase-out of products and obsolete materials.

What you will need on that journey: 

• Completed business studies with a focus on logistics / supply chain management or a comparable degree
• At least 5 years Leadership Experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Extensive knowledge in operations and operational strategy.
• A track record of being able to develop and lead highly effective teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and improved efficiency.
• Proven ability to deliver projects and manage long term goals.
• Excellent analytical skills with proven problem-solving ability.
• A high level of organizational skills.
• Awareness and ability to look at business from a global perspective, being mindful of social and cultural diversity.
• A very high level of communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Willingness to work global, travel and manage workload across time zones.
