We are seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team at sonnen. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our website and ensuring an exceptional user experience. What You Will Do to Drive the Energy Transition 

 

  • Participate in the entire development process, including refinements, code reviews, tests, deployment and monitoring on production. 
  • Write reusable and clean code to create maintainable frontends backed by an in-house component library. 
  • Ensure continuous delivery of recent improvements by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, designers, and other developers in an agile cross-functional team. 
  • Foster cross-team collaboration between your team and other teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project development. 

 

 

What You Will Need on That Journey 

 

  • 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using Typescript and React. 
  • 2+ years of experience in different test automation strategies using test frameworks like React Testing Library or Cypress. 
  • Strong understanding of client and server-side rendering (CSR, SSR), DOM, CSSOM and micro-frontends. 
  • Experience with GraphQL is a plus. 
  • Proficiency with bundling tools (e.g. Vite or Webpack), CI/CD processes (GitLab/GitHub) and frontend infrastructure (AWS). 
  • Ability to comfortably express your ideas and arguments in good spoken and written English.
