We are currently seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our software development team at the earliest opportunity. Our software equips our internal service teams with a state-of-the-art platform to identify, diagnose, and resolve device-related issues, ensuring our customer care agents to swiftly react to unexpected behaviors of our hardware landscape, including sonnen batteries, chargers, and heat pumps.
As a UX/UI Designer, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the user experience of the Device Tool. You will not only collaborate closely with our Product Owner and Frontend Developer but also actively engage in user-centric practices. This includes actively collecting user feedback, conducting user interviews, and creating insights and opportunities based on user data. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating usability discussions and ensuring that the design decisions are aligned with user needs and preferences. By incorporating user research and feedback into the design process, you will contribute to improving issue resolution speed, boosting user adoption, and enhancing overall user satisfaction and engagement.
Your role will involve active participation in a fully stacked scrum team within a remote work setup, with occasional in-person workshops for effective communication and brainstorming.
About you:
- You have a proven track record and proficiency in UX/UI design, particularly in data visualization
- You are adept at translating complex data into intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that facilitate efficient diagnostics and problem-solving.
- You have experience in conducting user research, collecting feedback, and deriving actionable insights to inform design decision.
- You are skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and iterate based on user feedback.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills are key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product / project managers, and customer service agents.
- Excellent English language skills are a must-have, while fluency in German is a plus for effective team communication.
