We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) to support software engineering teams during deployment and integration of cloud based services on an AWS environment. You'll ensure everything runs the way it's supposed to, and provide the service availability and service levels expected of a world-class IT company. You will be involved in teams on a daily basis, providing infrastructure and tools to other teams, such as deployments, CI/CD. You will collaborate with stakeholders responsible for the overall enterprise architecture as well as IT security and adapt enterprise policies into our production environment. Configuration management and security should be top-of-mind and rolling out globally redundant, auto-scaling environments should excite you. What you will do to help drive energy transition

 

  • Setup and maintain the AWS environments where sonnen's applications are deployed.
  • Manage the deployment, configuration and integration of those applications.
  • Manage all infrastructure cloud-based deployments.
  • Automate system tools and team tools.
  • Work with other system and database administrators to maintain the service levels of all systems.
  • Define configuration management and deployment procedures, including post-release monitoring and risk analysis.
  • Deploy, improve and maintain our monitoring tools.
  • Interact with other teams to promote best practices.
  • Create and maintain stability and performance tests.

 

What you will need on that journey

 

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with elastic scalable systems
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (IAM, Multi-Account Setups, EKS, RDS, serverless etc.)
  • Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform
  • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Logging and Monitoring Solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudwatch, ELK).
  • Experience Python is a plus.
  • Fluent English language skills in speaking and writing.
