Project Manager (f/m/d)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage applications and IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Initiation & Planning:

• Work with key contributors to build robust Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to ensure clear task allocation and project tracking.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive business cases, including feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis.
• Establish clear project governance and approval processes.
• Secure necessary resources and approvals to commence projects.
• Identify key stakeholders and establish communication plans.

Project Execution & Management:

• Lead end-to-end IT applications and infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of IT initiatives.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with business leaders to define project objectives and key success criteria.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk & Issue Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential project roadblocks.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Resource & Budget Management:

• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial goals.
• Allocate and optimize resources to ensure efficiency and high performance.
• Track project expenses and report financial status to leadership.

Quality & Performance Monitoring:

• Define and enforce project governance and best practices.
• Implement performance tracking metrics to ensure project success.
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions to improve future project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on enterprise applications and IT infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Demonstrable experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) and MS 365 Applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pragmatic and self-starter.

Preferred:

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe) certification.
• Experience with CRM and ERP tools – Salesforce & SAP
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and IT security principles.
