What you will do to help drive the energy transition: 

 

  • Developing innovative sonnen energy storage products  

  • Design state of the art analog- and power-electronics from concept phase until start of production 

  • Contribute hardware architecture and requirements engineering 

  • Create relevant documents to product certification 

  • Close collaboration with cross-functional and international project teams as well as external partners 

  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing product designs and mechanisms 

 

What you will need on that journey: 

 

  • University degree in electrical engineering, power electronics is a plus 

  • Solid experience (+3 years) in analog and power electronics engineering 

  • Solid experience (+3 years) in PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes 

  • Proficiency with hardware design standards, EMI/EMC compliance and regulatory certifications 

  • Proficiency in Altium as design tool and PDM system, simulation and modeling tools 

  • Hands-on experience with breadboarding, prototyping, and circuit debugging 

  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies is a plus 

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an independent, structured, proactive work style  

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a transparent work environment 

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
