What you will do to help drive the energy transition:

 

You will be responsible for the design and development of connection solutions and wiring harness concepts for the transmission of energy, signals, and data for our battery storage systems. This involves effectively connecting electrical components such as batteries, controllers, power supplies, and inverters.

  • Defining and selecting suitable cables/wires according to national and international standards
  • Creating wiring harness drawings and parts lists
  • Designing cables and connection technologies
  • Designing cable routing/pass-throughs and protection concepts
  • Developing requirement specifications
  • Communicating with potential manufacturers and providing technical support to project procurement
  • Conducting design reviews, validations, and usability tests, and supporting the development process until series production readiness

 

What you will need on that journey:

 

  • A successfully completed degree or apprenticeship in electrical engineering/electronics or relevant professional experience
  • Experience in drawing and applying circuit diagrams and cable drawings
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Solidworks Electrical and Solidworks for wiredrawing's, E-Plan desirable
  • Practical experience in electrical and mechanical measurement technology
  • Experience with contact technologies and electrical signal transmission is advantageous
  • Experience in designing and constructing wiring harnesses is desirable
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
