We are seeking a highly organized Cyber-Security Manager, to join our dynamic team in Cairo. As our Cybersecurity Manager you will be part of the Global IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team and be responsible for the Global Coordination of all IT Cyber-Security initiatives and respective activities at sonnen.


What you’ll do to help drive the energy transition: 
 

  • You will own the central coordination for all initiatives and projects to further secure, improve and expand our firewall, network, servers, Cloud and endpoint infrastructure. 

  • You will continuously analyze national and international threat situation and provide cross functional information on current threats - in the event of an incident, you coordinate countermeasures, together with the IT Infrastructure and Management team - also in close cooperation with Shell CERT (Cyber Emergency Response team). 

  • You will support and advise the IT Project management team in assessing and averting information security and IT Cyber-Security risks. 

  • You will support our Risk Management process by helping to classify and escalate cyber-security risks. You will help translate SOC risk notifications into the needed criticality and will recommend mitigating options. 

  • You will work closely with our Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officers to defend against data protection incidents. 

 

What you will need for the journey: 
 

  • Ideally you have a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Alternatively, you have acquired the necessary specialism during several years of practice. 

  • You have in-depth knowledge of modern, centrally managed firewall & network infrastructures plus several years of experience in the field of IT Cyber-Security and defense. 

  • Good knowledge of modern server and cloud infrastructures and their protection where, ideally you bring good understanding and practical experience in the protection of Amazon AWS cloud infrastructures. 

  • You know the interrelationships between IT Service, IT Operations, IT Delivery and Cyber-defense. 

  • You bring organizational skills and experience coordinating internal and external international service providers 

  • You enjoy working with people whom you motivate, convince and inspire time and again with your open and communicative manner. 

  • You enjoy working in a diverse and international environment – from Australia to America 

  • Excellent communication skills in both, English and Arabic.
