What you will do to help drive energy transition:

 

  • Independently carry out planning and purchasing activities with the goal of achieving specified delivery times, lead times, inventory levels, and high delivery quantities/reliability.
  • Review order confirmations and monitor delivery timelines.
  • Ensure material availability when introducing new product generations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize them to defined target levels.
  • Ensure discontinuation control and monitor surplus and unusable material.
  • Maintain master data in SAP (e.g., statistics and maintain procurement and supplier master data, delivery times, Incoterms, prices, etc.).
  • Complaint management – ​​Service & Quality Management.
  • Close collaboration with category managers to achieve quality, optimal delivery times, and cost reduction targets, as well as support all necessary measures.
  • Independent implementation as a buyer in various purchasing projects (e.g., market analyses and inquiries) and initiating supplier decisions.
  • X-functional collaboration with other supply chain teams, as well as production, quality, development, and service.
  • Organization and management of supplier meetings and workshops internally and externally

 

What you will need for that journey:

 

  • Successfully completed commercial training or a BA degree and several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing at a manufacturing company
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications
  • Independent and responsible working style
  • Good communication skills, high level of commitment, and ability to work as a team
