We are seeking for a Senior BI Developer who will be part of sonnens global Data & Insights unit. You will join a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, and BI developers who empower sonnens business with data-driven insights, services and products to improve the quality of our product offerings and the performance of our global fleet of energy storage systems. In your role as BI Developer you will be part of the global BI team and help sonnens business users in answering their questions, reduce iterative manual reporting efforts and support the higher management by creating insightful and compelling dashboards. Also, you will help the BI Team in empowering our business stakeholders to create their own reports and analyses.  

  

What you will do to help drive energy transition: 

  

  • You create insightful, fit for purpose dashboards  

  • You train business users in editing, enhancing, and creating dashboards with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server  

  • You administer users and contents in our Self-Service Analytics-Tool Tableau  

  • You assist in identifying data sources and ensure that they have a high level of data integrity  

  • You assist in the implementation of our self-service analytics approach 

  • You will support establishing/enhancing our KPI Framework 

  • You will assist in rolling out our Reporting standards globally 

   

What you will need on that journey: 

 

  • 3 to 5 years work experience.  

  • Very good knowledge on and mentionable practical experience in creating dashboards with front-end BI tools (experience in Tableau is beneficial)  

  • Strong logical thinking and good understanding of business requirements  

  • SQL querying experience (experience in Redshift/PostgreSQL is beneficial)  

  • Knowledge of data preparation and data modelling  

  • Work structure, self-employment and motivation to take over responsibility for your own projects  

  • Customer orientation and focus on proactive stakeholder communication 

  • Fluent English and strong communication skills
