Our Virtual Power Plant is an innovative platform that transforms the flexibility of our solar batteries into real added value for our customers. We offer support in all areas of electricity network flexibility - including system, market, and grid - thereby making a significant contribution to the global promotion of green transformation towards renewable energies.

 

Your tasks:

 

  • Automation and improvement of operational processes in the area of virtual power plants, such as:
    • Integration of decentralized devices into our virtual power plants
    • Management of plant malfunctions
  • Preparation of quantitative data analyses for the continuous optimization of the systems' operational efficiency
  • Collaboration in the prequalification of battery devices for the provision of control energy
  • Conducting and evaluating test runs of devices
  • Monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators for Service Level Agreements with business customers
  • Close collaboration with developers and other departments such as Customer Service, Trading Desk, or Business Steering, as well as with external service providers and partners

 

Your profile:

 

  • Successfully completed degree, preferably in the fields of (business) engineering, (business) informatics, or in a study program with a technical background
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Experience in creating scalable processes
  • Pragmatic way of working and the claim to understand daily operational requirements and to develop solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on using data to investigate problems
  • Programming skills in Python and experience with databases
  • Understanding of the energy industry (in the European area) is a plus
  • Convinced team player with a committed and structured approach
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
