What you will do to help drive energy transition:  

 

  • Identify and analyze the latest technological trends relevant to sonnen’s business, with a particular focus on sector coupling and energy management  

  • Understand the market and business opportunities in the field of both residential and commercial energy management solutions  

  • Support in developing a strategy for sonnen’s positioning in the home & commercial energy management space   

  • Turn ideas into products: Manage the overall product lifecycle of our energy management solutions  

  • Coordinate internal efforts to improve our energy management solutions  

 

 

What you will need for that journey:  

 

  • Technical bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred, business degree (Master) also possible 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience (ideally related to energy) in a research and development, innovation, or ideally in a product management function  

  • The ideal candidate has worked in the field of energy management/ load optimization before    

  • Strong analytical, research and creative problem-solving skills to holistically understand, evaluate and develop energy management solutions for existing and new sonnen products  

  • Experience in defining new business models for innovative new digital services (e.g., subscription models, SaaS, platforms), ideally within the residential or commercial energy management space  

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, candidate must coordinate between various internal functions (sales, development, marketing, customer care, legal)  

  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments  

  • Strong English and German language skills  

  • Be excited and motivated to transform the energy sector
