What you will do to help drive energy transition:

 

  • Manage and optimize sonnen Energy Services & Digital solutions categories according company vision and strategy

  • Responsible of Category and Shareholder Management for Energy Services & Digital solutions

  • Ability to collaborate across the organization globally and manage cross-functional stakeholders and teams to ensure business objectives are met

  • Work with project managers and stakeholders in the development of product as well as financial and budgetary plans; ensure early supplier engagement

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of category strategies (i.e. robust processes, standardization, bundling, supplier concentration)

  • Effectively work with suppliers to negotiate optimal terms and develop strong strategic aligned partnerships

  • Responsible for sourcing decisions, negotiations and contract management

  • Innovate and deliver new approaches/solutions to drive organizational efficiencies, smart spend/budget management and increase savings and continuously improve performance of organization

  • Drive 100% compliance to sourcing policy and procedures, supplier approval, competitive bidding, delegation of authority approval 

  • Strong participation in Growth Budget planning, and Operating business plans
     

What you will need on that journey:

 

  • BS or MS in Business or Technical discipline and/or evidence of exceptional experience

  • 3-4+ years experience as a Category Manager

  • In-depth experience in strategic sourcing/contract management with international and local suppliers in multiple categories

  • Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to influence at all levels

  • A strategic mindset, relationship-building skills and analytical skills

  • Proven leadership skills experienced in leading multi-cultural teams in an international environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills, open-minded, persuasive personality with outstanding internal and external relationship management skills up to Senior Management level

  • Self-driven and willing to take on responsibility, able to set priorities in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task efficiently towards deadlines

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Willingness to travel
