What it is all about:
The thesis shall explore the requirements of power conversion systems (PCS) in stationary energy storage systems in low voltage power grid. With an interface level understanding of the power conversion systems, the thesis shall focus on circuit design & programming of microcontroller / microprocessor for automated tests including but not limited to the following features of PCS:

Microgrid Formation of Grid-tied System & Control

Overload Protections and Power Recovery in Microgrid Operation

Rapid Shut Down Protection
-
Integrating the test automation program with the existing test automation framework for report generation and documentation shall complete the thesis work.
Where you already are:

Enrolled in a suitable study program in University / Applied Science Institute

Knowledge or prior experience in microcontroller programming in C/C++
-
Basic knowledge of Python programming environment

Knowledge of Power Converters in Stationary Storage Systems is desired

Fluent in German and English
