What you will do to help the transition to green energy


  • Root-cause analysis and solution to battery Systems not performing as expected

  • Remote troubleshooting of issues related to software, hardware, installation, and commissioning of battery Systems

  • Provide technical support to our customer support US

  • Supporting the evaluation of new software rollouts – Analysis and detection of new errors and faults

  • Support on the creation of service-relevant instructions and thus ensure the transfer of knowledge to our service country organization US.

  • Ensures technical issues (service tickets) are resolved.

  • Act as interface between the US country organization and the Global Support Department related to technical issues, reproducing and sharing bugs.

  • Become an expert in all technical aspects (software and hardware) of batteries, inverters, power meters, solar panels, energy software and other Sonnen accessories.



What you will need for this challenge


  • Successful completed academic studies on electrical engineering, sciences or comparable qualifications like certified engineer. Alternatively, you have a technical studies/training with several years of relevant professional experience.

  • Experience in technical service, preferable in energy storage

  • Good understanding of electrical systems

  • You possess knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

  • Excellent customer and service orientation combined with good communication, team skills, and social competence

  • You are ready to continuously further your education in the field of renewable energy technology and energy storage systems

  • Fluent English (written and oral) are required

  • Experience with CRM systems, case/ticketing systems, and bug-tracking systems

  • MS-Office skills; Tableau, Salesforce and SAP experiences are welcome

  • Willingness to travel
