Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, you will have a very broad role covering pre-sales support, first line technical support, and occasional on-site technical support. Based from home and/or working in the office.

 

Your tasks:

 

  • Support our sales team, partners and customers with battery storage system selection, design, and technical support inquiries.  

  • Handle and document all technical support inquiries regarding our systems (both pre-sales and post-installation) via telephone, email, and site visits.

  • You plan on-site assignments of the service technicians for fault clearance and maintenance of our battery storage systems etc.

  • Through efficient, cost-effective and smooth service processing, you ensure high customer and partner satisfaction.

  • Support the company in new product development and ongoing product improvement, conduct continuous competitor research, and communicate findings.

  • Attend trade shows both in the UK and internationally.

  • Organize and perform technical trainings.

  • Assist with research of current UK regulation and ensure all products and installations are compliant within the UK.

 

Your profile:

 

  • You are interested in working in the technical support area and have a passion for assisting customers and/or partners.

  • You have successfully completed technical apprenticeship or technical studies (such as electrotechnical or other engineering degree). A strong technical background is essential and would suit a candidate with previous experience in the Solar and Storage business as well as Electrical, or Technical Support. You will have experience of working on both single and three phase electrical systems, and may be a fully qualified electrician or an electrical engineering graduate.

  • You are customer focused and passionate about excellent customer service.

  • You think in a systematic and logical way.

  • You will be able to work independently with minimal supervision using your initiative, but also be a team player, supporting a small but passionate team.

  • You can express yourself clearly on the phone with an empathic attitude.

  • You are fluent in English in written and spoken form. As this is a customer facing role, your written and verbal communication skills must be excellent.

  • You have good IT-Skills (Office, Salesforce).
